Monsieur Magnetik, Dark Gloves.
One of Studio Supreme's first creative projects in China, and an homage to Shanghai's 1930s French Concession, the local mob, and the vibrant cabaret culture that thrived at the time. It also reflects the director's own experience of the city in the early 2000s.
The abandoned location used for the shoot has since become the famous cabaret The Pearl, and Shanghai keeps evolving. A mix of fashion, music and dance, with choreography by Julian Mei.
