The Passport

The studio's most awarded film: 19 wins and over 70 nominations worldwide.

The Passport is a 15-minute sci-fi noir shot guerrilla-style on the streets of Shanghai. A man wakes in a dark alley with no memory of who he is. On a mission to find his identity, he uncovers truths that were better left forgotten. You are what you remember.

A deeply personal film for its director, Olivier Hero Dressen, who wrote, financed, directed, produced and edited it after his own experience of memory loss, willed into existence by a small team with no studio behind it.

It went on to win Best Short at Stage 32 and Best Cinematography at the Macau International Movie Festival, and screened at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. A story worth telling does not need permission.
