MIDEA "Carry Cool"

A live-action opening, then a transition into a fully animated stop-motion world.

The creative arrived with an existing style, so Studio Supreme added a live-action open and a move the team had wanted to try for years: a bullet-time ring built as a 90-degree arc, so the camera travels from a horizontal view up to a pure top shot, crossing from the real world into animation in one motion. Everything past that point is stop-motion. The rooms, props and character were all built to be moveable and animated frame by frame, so each scene physically transforms into the next.

Over 20 hours of shooting, straight through. Stop-motion is brutal. You earn every second on screen.
